Emma hails from Canada originally, but calls Grand Rapids, Michigan home. She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. In her time in Fargo, she worked with The Stage at Island Park’s education department, music directing the summer production of Cinderella Kids! and teaching weekend acting classes for very young actors. She has numerous college theatre credits as well as several community and professional theatre credits in North Dakota and Michigan. She was fortunate enough to travel to Scotland for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014 for the incredible experience of performing as Ivy in bare: a pop opera (Act Up Theatre). This past summer, she wore many hats, working as a Teaching Artist for two of Florida Repertory Theatre’s Summer Intensive shows as well as directing one of the Mini-Stars camps, and finishing off the summer music directing The Lion King Jr. She is so excited to be working with the education department and diving deeper into the world of educational theatre!
