Some of the theatre’s most thrilling experiences are constructed with meticulous care and direction with the aid of technical effects and perfect timing. Productions like Woman in Black, Mousetrap, Let the Right One In, and Misery have spooked and stirred audiences from the West End to Broadway. Learn about the behind the scenes magic that brings these unexplained scares to life from Education Director; Kody C Jones. Before coming to Florida, Kody finished directing the World Premiere of Stephen King’s The Shining and will be explaining all of the effects and chills that lead to that sold-out run and more.

Taught by Acting Intern; Hunter Clarke, in the class you will learn the fundamentals of comedic Improvisation through creative exploration, actor trust and team-building, listening, and of course, lots of Improvisation games.

Introduction to Swordplay
This class takes unarmed combat to another level as we begin an introductory course to fencing and sword play. This class, taught by certified fight choreographer; Kody C Jones, will you begin with the basics and end with a full partnered sequence of sword play.
