What’s your Type? How to Find the Character Within

Instructor: Kody C Jones

Knowing your character type is hugely beneficial when you audition. You must establish your best self by elevating your strengths and determining your weaknesses while finding and creating your type as a performer. Education Director Kody C. Jones has tips for discovering the best type of roles for you as a unique person.

From glamorous movie-star looks too realistic cuts and bruises, makeup design is an essential element for creating a believable story on stage. See what it takes to bring that realism onto the stage through makeup.

Stage Management

The unsung heroes of theatre are Stage Managers, but becoming one isn’t easy! Our resident equity stage manager Amy Massari will explain what makes a successful Stage Manager for the professional stage.

Introduction to Directing

Ever wonder what it would be like to director or assistant direct your own production? In this masterclass, Education Director Kody C Jones establishes the foundation of directing including play analysis, blocking, communicating with a production team, and casting.

Bringing Your Best Vocal Audition

Instructor: Roz Metcalf

How do you stand out at a vocal audition? What is it that gets you to that callback and, eventually, lands you that role? Get tips from a professional music director on how to impress at your vocal audition.
