Summer Camp    |   WINTER & SPRING CAMPS


CAMP FLORIDA REP is a theatre intensive summer camp for students entering 2nd through 12th Grade. Campers attend classes in music, dance, drama, and stage crafts to produce a full musical at the end of each two-week session. This in-depth involvement gives campers a true sense of ownership and pride in their work, resulting in increased confidence and creativity.

Legally Blonde The Musical Jr.

June 5-9 and 12-16 (Performances on June 15 and 16 at 6:00 pm)

Based on the award-winning Broadway musical and the smash hit motion picture, Legally Blonde The Musical JR. is a fabulously fun journey of self-empowerment and expanding horizons. The show’s instantly recognizable songs are filled with humor, wit and sass – leaving cast members and audiences alike seeing pink!

Fiddler on the Roof Jr.

Music and Lyrics by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick with a Book by Joseph Stein

June 19-23 and 26-30 (Performances on June 29 and 30 at 6:00 pm)

This special adaptation of the nine-time Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Fiddler on the Roof JR. follows Tevye the milkman as he tries to protect his daughters and his way of life from a changing world.  Created by Broadway legends Jerome Robbins, Harold Prince, Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick and Joseph Stein, Fiddler on the Roof JR. tackles the universal theme of tradition in ways that reach across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion.

Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr.

July 2-7 and 10-14 (Performances on July 13 and 14 at 6:00 pm)

Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto your stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime.  Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.

 Disney’s The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world and now, for the first time ever, you have the opportunity to produce this one-of-a-kind musical in your your school. The African Savannah comes to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle… and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

CAMP MINI-STARS for students entering K-3rd grades! Camp Mini-Stars is designed for our budding young performers who might not be ready for the bright stage lights… yet! Each two-week camp will focus on creative drama based on an exciting theme! Throughout the course of each day, campers will use their imagination and work on scenes, songs, choreography, and art which will culminate in an informal presentation on the final afternoon of camp.

Sonic Superheroes and Villainous Villains

June 19-23 and 26-30 (Celebration on June 30 at 2:00 pm)

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no, its Florida Rep Education’s first fully staged comic book adventure.  Develop your superpowers and fight the elements of evil in this action-packed journey to infinity and beyond. 

There’s No Place like Home; Tales from Oz

July 2-7 and 10-14 (Celebration on July 14 at 2:00 pm)

Actors and Singers and Dancers, Oh my!  Skip on down the yellow brick road with all of your familiar friends in our own retelling of L. Frank Baum’s timeless classic.

Fun and Fantastical Creatures

July 17-21 and 24-28 (Celebration on July 28 at 2:00 pm)

Enter a fantastical realm of wondrous creatures like you’ve never seen before. Help us battle a beast or be-friend a fairy as we create our own magical world of make-believe.

Teen Summer Conservatory 2017:

July 24th –August 12th (Performances August 11-13th)  

By Mary Zimmerman and Adapted from Ovid’s Metamorphoses

This Tony Award winning play is a magical journey into Ovid’s world of transformation and enchantment. In breathtaking images, the characters experience love and loss, joy and pain, freeze and transform, as they discover the inevitable consequences of their own actions.

**AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE May 30th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. 

Call-backs will be May 31st from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

A one minute dramatic monologue is required for auditions; you may also prepare an additional one minute comedic monologue.  No singing is necessary for this audition.
