Florida Rep Education is pleased to announce our brand new programming that will allow students ages 8-16 to perform on a national platform!
Florida Rep Education will be bringing a 15-minute cut of Mary Poppins Jr to the 2019 Junior Theater festival in Atlanta, Georgia! Students will perform and compete for adjudication from theatre professionals, participate in theatre workshops, audition for MTI choreography DVDs, be the some of the first to see new titles being introduced into the MTI Broadway Junior collection, and meet young people with the same passion and interests from all over the world! Florida Rep Education will bring 30 students from the Southwest Florida area to Atlanta to gather with peers from across 40 states and 6 countries.
Junior Theater Festival preparation programming will instill a sense of integral pride in our students' work on a national platform and bring a whole new level to ensemble team building.

August 22nd and 23rd from 4:00-7:00 pm
Callbacks: August 24th from 4:00-8:00 pm
“Our Education Associate, Christina DeCarlo, has initiated a groundbreaking idea that will lead to a career-changing opportunity for our young actors,” Education Director Kody C. Jones said.
Past attendees and performers of JTF included Tony-, Golden Globe-, and Academy Award-winning songwriters, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul; Emmy nominee Darren Criss; 11-time Grammy Award-winning musical theatre and film score composer Alan Menken; and critically acclaimed, Tony Award-winning songwriting duo Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
