Tomorrow, Florida Rep Education’s Instagram will be taken over by Acting Intern Ethan Antonio León for a special behind-the-scenes look at our Theatre for Young Audiences program!
Ethan will be giving followers an inside look at what it’s like to be an Acting Intern at Florida Rep as he helps prepare for a Lunchbox Theatre performance of Miss Nelson is Missing! taking place on our historic Arcade Theatre stage.
Our Acting Interns are the heart of Florida Rep’s Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) program, touring three professional productions each season to schools across Southwest Florida. This year’s titles include:

From October through May, the TYA company brings live theatre to thousands of students across the region — inspiring imagination, empathy, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.
