Fly Away to Neverland with Florida Rep’s Summer Intensive Production of Peter Pan JR.

Created with Sketch.

FORT MYERS, FL (July 23, 2025) — This summer, Florida Repertory Theatre’s Education Department invites audiences of all ages to take flight with Peter Pan JR., a magical journey filled with adventure, heart, and the timeless story of never growing up. Performances will take place July 31 and August 1 as the final production of Florida Rep’s 2025 Summer Musical Intensives.

Directed by Megan Jimenez Leonard, Assistant Education Director, this two-week musical theatre intensive features young artists ages 8 to 18 from across Southwest Florida. With music direction by Jessica Mongerio and choreography by Katelynn Handa, the show promises to dazzle with energy, creativity, and imagination.

Based on the classic play by Sir J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan JR. features beloved songs by Morris Charlap, Carolyn Leigh, Jule Styne, Betty Comden, and Adolph Green. Audiences can look forward to musical favorites like “I’m Flying,” “I’ve Gotta Crow,” and “I Won’t Grow Up.” This joyful adaptation brings Peter, Wendy, and the Lost Boys to life alongside the mischievous Tinker Bell, the fierce Brave Girls, and a crew of delightfully goofy pirates led by the unforgettable Captain Hook.

The talented cast is led by Kavi Roff as Peter Pan, Lily Hall as Tinker Bell, and Giovanna Muro, Embry Croop, and Milciadez Baez as the Darling siblings. Bruno Chagas commands the stage as the villainous Captain Hook, joined by a spirited ensemble of Lost Boys, Brave Girls, and Neverland creatures.

The production is supported by a dedicated creative team, including scenic designer Jordan Moore, costume designer Skylee Vaughn, lighting designer Andy Harrington, sound designer Braden Downing, and stage manager Joy Brooks.

Peter Pan JR. is the final production in Florida Rep’s 2025 Summer Musical Intensive series, which offers two-week camps for students ages 8 to 18. The program provides hands-on training in acting, singing, and dancing, culminating in fully staged performances on Florida Rep’s professional campus.
