This fall, Florida Repertory Theatre is making it fun to step into the spotlight! Our 6-week classes in Musical Theatre Tap, Musical Theatre Jazz, and Scene Study give kids the chance to move, groove, act, and explore the magic of theatre—all while making new friends. Learning theatre isn’t just fun—it helps kids build confidence, creativity, and teamwork, skills that last a lifetime.
Musical Theatre Tap
Students will learn basic tap skills, exploring rhythms, tempo, and counting while making some serious music with their feet. Tap shoes are required (black flat tap shoes preferred). Tuition: $80 per student.
Musical Theatre Jazz
For dancers looking to grow their technical and performance skills, this jazz class dives into movement, style, and theatrical flair. Tan or black jazz shoes are required. Tuition: $80 per student.
Scene Study Studio – Refugee
Explore the powerful one-act play Refugee by Eric Coble, based on Alan Gratz’s acclaimed book. Students will study and perform selected scenes, learning about courage, resilience, and the universal human experience. Tuition: $100, materials included.
